NESSA currently does not have an adoption center, though we do facilitate the adoptions of our socialized cats. We are working on finding the best possible place for a center, for the future.  Our vision is that the center will focus on adoption and education for all companion animal owners.

At present, the adoption process is different than the typical rescue league set-up.  NESAA has a network of foster homes that take rescued animals and assist with the socializing of the animal and all rehabilitation needs.  When an animal friend is ready for adoption, NESAA facilitates the transfer of the animal through a collaborative relationship with several "no-kill" shelters through out Massachusetts. These "no-kill" shelters then proceed to find loving homes for our animal friends
